fedi recommended i read Ezekiel, and i have been uplifted by my reading. Ezekiel is a righteous man living amongst a very degenerate Israel, and he becomes a prophet announcing judgement upon his neighbors. chapter after chapter the Lord pronounces such an utter destruction upon Israel that even now it has not recovered from it. to look back upon the Bible and upon history and see how utterly a wicked nation can be punished gives me hope that even such a wicked time as this will have a complete death.
