I'm super jealous of people that really got into templeos programming and did some amazing shit with it. I can't dedicate that much time to something that specific and without "practical" use. I'm not putting it down, it's great to do things without "practical use". I just have too many specific problems I am trying to solve to take a small break and just code things for fun.

@meso yes, and sleep on it and pick it back up fresh in the morning. works really well.

@Moon is it normal to get stuck on a problem when programming? what do you usually do then? :meowNerd:

@Moon @meso I love this trick. Also sometimes just the act of taking the time to detail your problem step by step can make the errors more obvious. I like to annoy family members with weird bugs from time to time. It's useful because if I really want them to understand the problem I have to slow down and be thorough

Yes, programming and math both. It wouldn't be a hard thing to do otherwise.
My students actually wrote a whole poster of suggestions, some of which were pretty creative. I forget all of them.

as for what I do? i put it on the to do list and move on to the next problem. My to do list is out of control, but it helps me come back to problems i was stuck on in the past, in principle, from a new vantage point

@jeffcliff @meso @Moon yeah clear eyes without any built up frustration from getting stuck is sometimes all that's needed
