Yesterday was International Workers Day.

The international workers day is not a celebration of the exploitation of people by employers but a commemoration of workers struggles to defend their rights and the remembrance of state repression & media complicity.

May 1st marks the beginning of a general strike in the US in 1886 as part of the global 8-hour workday movement, around which workers organised in the form of strikes or riots. (1/7)
