     @SuperSnekFriend @rudrajade @ceo_of_monoeye_dating One of the ways “cyclops” may have become a myth (other than it being real and being hunted to extinction) is, apart from finding elephant skulls, from some poison in the Mediterranean. If it is ingested, it causes fetuses to fail to split the brain into two hemispheres, have one eye, and a proboscis for a nose. They die minutes after birth due to being unable to breathe.
