     Every damn morning I look at my news feed and there's at least 4-6 articles going "AI is dangerous and could lead to human extinction!" It's so dumb.
     
     If people actually understood what's going on with these chatbots they would be stunned at how simple it really is. Relatively simple that is.
     
     It's a fun toy, but it's just a damn computer program lol

     I'm not as much worried about AI taking over. I look at all this as working toward transhumanism. That is is ultimate goal imo

     @TinyHouse4Life @Bleukitty I just think machine learning is a good way to derive certain kinds of knowledge from large datasets. It's useful, and you can do neat things with it that seem kind of spooky if you don't know how it is achieved. I think the FUD could definitely be used to convince people that Elon's "merge or die" nonsense is sound reasoning, but I haven't really heard much recently around augmentations like his neuralink
