@ana_valdi We have an up hill struggle (still, it seems) in differentiating between data about things and data about people* and getting people to realise that if I have enough data about you (and the right algorithms), I can essentially simulate you. In other words, that data about people is people.
Once you think of it that way, those slogans become even more unconscionable.
