   I guess it’s a testament to our demographics on here that we talk about therapy, but never its more insidious evolution: Marital Counseling

   That’s much worse, because it has such potential to utterly ruin a family. Why couples under stress will just hand their life’s keys to whatever obsessive, system-addicted spinster accepting their insurance will always baffle me

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @okuu It's an easy tool for a manipulative cunt, usually the wife but not always, to shop around for someone to agree with them so they can turn it into a struggle session rather than diplomacy. If it all goes sour they can always complain to the family court judge that they tried counseling but the other one (usually the husband) was not cooperative.

     @PoalackJokes88 @okuu I do know one lady who did it w/ her hubby and lost her mind because she couldn’t handle the fake “both sides” stuff the therapist threw out to look even handed

     @skylar @okuu I once had an ex who was really insecure about me being disinterested and she actually did the dog thing. She noticed I was always apt to pet her puppy, so she just started imitatin what he did by nuzzling me, nudging me, staring at me. It was very cute. Worked like a charm.

     Funny how there’s a GT about a guy doing the same thing in reverse to fix a similar problem
