Fun fact of the day, yet another white elephant gift to the taxpayer by the Australian military, the Collins class submarine was supposed to be stealthy.

It was not. It rather famously was distinctly unsteathy. After several refits that cost tens of millions of dollars the Collins class apparently no longer drunk dials every single military vessel on earth any more.

This has not helped it shrug off its affectionate nickname: 'The Rock Concert'
