     I've been using Devuan as daily driver for perhaps 4-5 years now and have not run into any issues.

     Devuan behaves like Debian but without pros/cons of systemd.

     There's a live installer that (before installation) can give you a sense of how it might work for you.

     Whether it's worth it depends in part on how much/where mind-muscle memory is invested in prior experience. As well, for me systemd has proven to be a small reliability problem in certain extra sensitive applications.

     Because I'm lazy (aka "not enough time!") I use it also for making the laptops go.
