     @dominick @brunty Thank goodness Mozilla doesn’t exist because Google pays it half a billion dollars a year.

     @dominick @brunty Oh no, I’m just saying that Mozilla exists because Google pays it half a billion dollars every year so they can violate the privacy of and extract value from the people who use Firefox without changing its default settings to protect themselves.

     (And that’s apparently the best we can hope for under capitalism.)

     @aral @brunty I think I'm not following you. Are you saying that Google's funding of Mozilla is contributing to Firefox's lack of adoption?
