>the 2023 Sudan conflict
>the 2021 Sudan coup d'état
>the 2019 Sudanese Revolution
trying to make sense of this shit. It looks to me like the revolution was pure CIA to put a puppet gov in led by some cuck called Hamdok to bring feminist democracy to Sudan, but it didn't work and they got military coup'd immediately by a warlord called al-Burhan who is head of the military. but al-Burhan was reliant on a guy called Hemetti who runs a private military outfit called RSF that is trained by Wagner and backed by Russia. and now Hemetti has turned heel and is just trying to take over everything himself leading to the war. I don't think this conflict is part of a grand plan, but Russia is definitely being opportunistic in backing one side. I doubt the US really wants to back al-Burhan either, but their man Hamdok is no longer even a player so they've gotta take what they can get

@augustus when life gives you lemons.... expand your proxy war front
-
@augustus oh damn so we can't even find a friend to pretend in the region? sad

@thatguyoverthere I also just learned that al-Burhan is also Russia friendly, so it's probably less of a proxy war than I initially thought. I think there is US presence there but they've already gotten their asses kicked

@thatguyoverthere They wanted a magic feminist democracy council led by Western educated Hamdok, but he got house arrested by this based boomer military leader less than a year in
