   i just watched LTT's video endorsing atlas os, and linus said, word for word, "you know, this basically kills linux" and "because that's what people use linux for, is getting more life out of old hardware that can't run windows anymore"

     he does not understand Linux and he does not care to learn it. he's not really technical. he's just a manager who reads teleprompter for videos :akko_shrug:

     @kaia @mjdxp he is perfect for his audience. People who confuse ads for stuff with knowledge about tech. Knowing the newest nvidia products for example.

     @mjdxp @grillchen @kaia We need a good descriptive term for that archetype. “PC gamer” is too broad, and also includes some people who are actually technically literate. Like how we have the convenient and well recognized term “woke” to describe those who subscribe to a cluster of intersecting political ideologies.
