The Master said, "There are four things which can destroy the State (國家): women, whiskey, money, and niggers."
A scholar plied him, "I do not understand, can you make it plain to me what you mean? Surely these are not evil things by nature?"
The Master replied: "The State can be destroyed by four things: a woman who believes that her opinion supersedes Heaven (天), rice wine (米酒) imbibed before a decision, the belief that money (元寶) is a substitute for wisdom (智), and niggers (黑鬼) living within the city gates."
