   Another thing I was wondering, how do I say Queer in French? Google says it is “Pédé” but it seems to have more of a negative connotation than Queer as if it has yet to be reclaimed. It seems to still be used frequently as an insult. I would appreciate it if someone who has a better knowledge of the French language and culture could offer some guidance. Is it appropriate to use the word “Pédé” or are there some better alternatives? #Advice #Conseils #LGBTQ+ #Pride #Culture #French #France

     I'm not really sure, TBH, but one of the French boys I follow posted something not too long back to the effect of it being okay for him to use it but not the straights, iirc.
