Royper (royper@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 25-Apr-2023 05:10:30 JST Royper As a long time gunpla enjoyer I don’t understand how games workshop can charge such exorbitant prices for fixed non-articulated gray plastic, many of their models being over 20 years old. It baffles the mind. I am glad we live in a world of Low cost resin printers. -

I have not started building it yet as I have just started practicing to paint. the person at the store did warn me that it was a very advance kit. but I thought I would get it incase I regreted it and it was sold. keeping it for later until I know what the hell I am doing.

I’d definitely do a bit of research looking through build guides before jumping in.

Bandai tries to give good ‘color separation’ in its parts, so the paint shows up better. Yellow parts in this pic would be separate model parts on the runner. For resin kits, it’s about cost and wastage, so they’re far more likely to leave the pieces molded in w/ the understanding that the builder will have the skill to paint them in
