     @okuu @bleedingphoenix The worst part is they're mostly "relatable" to Redditfags, which means being a petty sack of shit. Relatability can be good when it's someone who's struggling to be a genuinely good person, but usually it's just an excuse to create a mirror of the writer's filthy and depraved soul.

     @okuu i feel like this is a more mainstream pitfall in entertainment. now more than ever there's an emphasis on characters that are relatable on a purely superficial level. a lot of people see characters that are not "relatable" as detrimental to that story.

     @bleedingphoenix That's a modern trend I really hate. They care more about characters that are "relatable" than they do about characters that perform great feats of heroism in service of a transcendental ideal.

     Joe Viewtiful, despite not having a Twitter account myself, is still one of my favorite posters on Twitter. Look at how he handles the tranny just showing up and offering itself up on a plate to the guy. Edgy enough to make a point, sharp enough not to get banned.
