This is such a weird game for me to look back on. I played the shit out of it on my gamecube like all the other people my age did... But I can't honestly look back at any Sonic Adventure games and say with a straight face "This is really good". The level designs are schizo or feel like a tech demo, the cutscenes are full of jank, the story is insane, the gameplay is practically non-existent in sonic/shadow/tails/eggman levels (until the very end on the satellite). It does have a bitchin soundtrack that perfectly captures the era though.
