     @synapsid I mean, in a country where the female overweight stats look like this, you're not gonna get a winning coalition together based around 'has gf'. You've got to be in the top 30 percent of men to get a girl who's (barely) not overweight, and that number thins out further when you account for all the other shit that makes someone completely unmarriageable.
     
     Like, yes, a lot of us do meet that standard, but if you want to win with democracy you're going to need more guys than that, and if you want to win without democracy you're going to need to survive some attrition.
