   The truth is that global climate change is not even surprising. What is substantially more surprising is that our climate ever cooled as much as it did. We have a long way to go before we reach the Paleocene-Eocene thermal maximum or even the lowest temperature the planet ever reached during the Cretaceous.

   That does not mean that humans would enjoy living in a Cretaceous climate. It might not be the end of the world, but I doubt that humans would find it to be either comfortable or convenient.

     "Climate Scientists"(tm) are a regulatory creation.

     Even more, that is the classic narrowing of focus: they are there to find problems.

     In the same way, if you flash a bunch of money at a mechanic and ask him what is wrong with your car, he will likely find _something_.

     Phooey.

     If I want to get my car fixed, I am going to call up a mechanic and not a climate scientist. If I want to stabilize an economy, I am going to call up an economist and not a mechanic. If I want an estimate of where the climate is heading, I am going to call up a climate scientist and not an economist.

     I believe my position on this to be imminently reasonable.

     However, the comfort and convenience of humans is not the planet's concern or that of a dragon.

     I do not buy the climate change narrative.

     I think it is a spook for the consequences of overpopulation and urbanization.
