   @Flick @thor It's rough to say this, but this is more or less right. The woman you got pregnant is probably not someone who wants to have kids - you have to accept that. You might consider moving on to another partner if you want kids moving forward.
   
   You're missing quite a bit of the point for this woman as well - it doesn't really matter if there's a lot of benefits associated with having kids. This woman doesn't want to have kids, and for this woman this appears to be an "absolutely no" thing.
   
   It's something that hurts, but when two people are mismatched so much on what they want out of life, then the situation is impossible to rectify.

     @Flick @thor I also want to throw in that none of the above is meant to downplay your feelings on the matter. Yeah, it hurts. As men, this is something that we all feel. Lots of us over on this side of fedi - minus the spinsters - are going to feel for you here.
