     @augustus @noyoushutthefuckupdad honestly I can't remember anymore what I knew about the swift boat thing. Except one thing, which is similar to the "al gore invented the internet". You can get people who were directly involved to lie, even hurting themselves in the process if it benefits their political leanings. The concept of this is alien to me, I would just about rather die than assent to a lie.
