So I've spent almost two hours fighting with a game's controller options and not understanding why the fuck I was having so many bugs and issues, and was ready to leave it a scathing review.
Then I found out that my problem is that Steam, very helpfully, decides to hijack my controller and use it to emulate a mouse (and some other stuff), whenever I'm in "the desktop" (read: whenever I'm not playing a Steam game). So whenever I tried to configure the controller or actually play the game, it was receiving 2 different inputs and going crazy.
And the option is not even intuitive to disable, You have to go to Big Picture mode, even if you never used that shit in your life, and find it inside some menus, because if you go to the controller options in the regular Steam mode you have no option to disable it.
Thanks Gaben. Very cool.

@Suzu Most modern software from big companies are basically adware and slow down your PC and fuck things up like that just like viruses did back in the 2000s. :akko_sus: Kinda thinking I'll set aside some money for a console because this shit is ruining PC gaming.
