   Oh! I've never seen a maroon one. Please share a picture when it blooms. Those wild roses really are a pain in the butt. They take over. I try to keep it wrangled to just a few places around the yard. This one is in the chicken yard. I had a nice patch of blackberries here last year for the hens to snack on but now it's just bush.

     @TinyHouse4Life @SamiOh I have a blackberry bush in my chicken area, but it's poorly protected (basically just the roots). I need to build a box around it so that it will fruit and then let them have at it.

     This wild rose bush is quite invasive but I love it anyway. It's in full bloom right now and makes the entire forest smells like candy

     @TinyHouse4Life Pretty! My wild rose is a maroonish wine colored. I think it's ugly, so makes me mad at its invasiveness even more. If it was at least pretty and smelled good I wouldn't complain too much.

     The yard is starting to show lots of pretty color
