   I learned something. The socialists/communists constantly make a difference between "private property" and "personal property", but can't really define it precisely.

   Now I know.

   Private Property = Stuff I want to steal from others.

   Personal Property = Stuff I don't want others to steal from me.

     @niclas It’s a consequence of so few of them actually reading theory. Private property is any item relating to production or capital (Land, factories, mining equiptment, rental properties, physical stores of capital like silver) Personal property covers things like clothing, books, toys and non-investment property.

     What most of them actually mean as a consequence of not knowing about the ideology is “Expensive things other people own“, as you say. It’s tribal. They want to be part of a club and for that club to hurt their enemies and benefit them.
