I just remember @Jim I think doing a video about them being a scam back in the day and that was basically my entire impression.

@CrushBead @ooignignoktoo @Jim @limepeep I wouldn't be surprised they got legit items at the beginning to attract people. It quickly wasn't enough for the amount of people and it probably went full scam shortly after once the reputation was made
But yeah, we got in early enough to actually get free shit

I know when they initially started off they were legit. They were trying to bank on becoming the next big one stop shop social media influence company for high schoolers / college kids. I found out of about Lockerz through cheapassgamer.com ( been a long ass time since I been there ) since Slick Deals kinda overtook it in terms of deal posting / layout.
The real problem with Lockerz was the site was full of people with bots that would snipe prizes before people could redeem them. Same issues people had during the pandemic with trying to get graphics cards.
Lockerz did almost little to nothing to deter protection from bots outside of the z-lister redemption and even then there was a lot of z-listers who used dummy mail accounts to sign up and get the status.

1x Rock Band 1 full game set for Xbox 360
1x Too Human Xbox 360
1x Project Gotham Racing 3 Xbox 360
1x Project Gothram Racing 4 Xbox 360
1x Kameo : Elements of Power Xbox 360
1x Ninja Blade xbox 360 ( I stil have this game sealed with the bing sticker on the back ). I won this I think some point in 2009/2010'ish
They ended up changing to another rewards portal and I got a free canon powershot camera from that one and I've gotten a few gamestop gift cards from filling out surveys.
