I wonder if he's the most universally despised anime character of all time.

@Hoss yes, definitively

@Hoss @coolboymew I want to disagree, but I cannot think of a counterexample.
Tucker's motive - where he is under work pressure - is relatable. You can put yourself in Tucker's shoes and ask what you'd do in his position. You can easily imagine the course of action you'd take in that scenario, and it's even something that lots of people *do* have nightmares about.
That's one of the things that makes what Tucker did hit so hard. Because you're forced to ask yourself if you'd do anything remotely like that in that scenario - and you answer "no."
If you compare to probably the *second* most universally despised anime character of all time - Kyubey - you're comparing him to someone who you *cannot* relate to. I think the fact that Tucker's situation is relatable makes it just that much worse.

@coolboymew @Hoss Honestly I have the same amount of contempt I have for him as Ghetsis from Pokemon
-
@coolboymew @Hoss The buildup to his actions is so brutal.

@mangeurdenuage @Hoss I only know it from proxy I'm afraid. I started getting cable TV when the original anime was ending

@coolboymew @Hoss The mange is also good.
