   Worth being a little empathetic for the groypers, particularly for those of us who recall our own libertarian teenager phase. The idea that young dudes in their teens were willing to join them should be seen as a positive, they just got sucked into the wrong thing.

   In their frame of mind it’s actually quite nice - they wanted to make a change, save the country, and do so in the ‘smartest’ way they could. The whole “OPTICS!!!!” thing is actually fairly astute, in that it provided some much-needed discipline and behavioral standardization during the movement’s early years.

   Had Fuentes not commandeered it and run the whole thing into the ground, the groyper movement may have become something quite nice, the idea of well-groomed, professional young white dudes knocking the GOP off its grassroots-level game and overturning party seats across the country is awesome. Instead, like so many other systems, it was corralled by the devil and his friends early on.

     @DW2 But the average, gullible, retarded 17 yo groyper’s heart was in the right place. He was just trying to find his way in life while squaring his programming about being a ‘good person’ with fixing the country.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @DW2 Hell I was a "groyper" (the term didn't exist until I was almost fully /our/guy) for most of highschool. I know alot of these guys irl and they are all kind, honest, loyal men who genuinely want to work to guide their nation back onto a good and godly path. I can't hate them.

     @Wisconsin_Kraut @DW2 That’s what I’ve seen of them IRL. Had family that flirted with America FIrst (which is what piqued my attention to begin with, needed to figure out an antivenin to keep this shit out of their system)

     and most have been future teammates, they’re just young and idealistic in a few ways. In time they’ll morph like us. Just need the experience.
