     @Whitewall_Blasphemy @Curvin @verita84 @graf @billy_hughes The embargo on Cuba is mostly in effect because Baccardi and Domino are still pissed off the Cuban government never gave them restitution for seizing their assets, not necessarily the Boomer exiles living in Miami

     @Curvin @verita84 @graf @billy_hughes Honestly, most of America isn't warm enough for sugarcane. There is some cultivation, and beet sugar is another one, but it would honestly just be better off importing from the Caribbean instead of restricting imports because Domino Sugar is seething about asset confiscation that happened 60 years ago
