     I picked a fight with something so much bigger and well off than me, what’s even the point of selling Inochi2D as an alternative to Live2D when I’m the one who’ll be playing catch-up forever.

     I’m frankly a useless nobody who has probably bitten off more than she could chew. Haven’t even finished high school

     @LunaFoxgirlVT I don't know if I should say anything, or even what to say, but you have power and control. Even if it's over seemingly small things, those still matter to you, right? You should be your own biggest fan, not just critic. You decide what matters and how far you can and want to go. There are things outside your control, yes, and that's okay. Do whatever you feel you can, just... please don't think you're a nobody. You matter.

     it takes a certain someone to make something like an alternate home for misfit content creators like us.

     sometimes when we fail at society's standards of success (money, education, influence, etc) its not us who have failed- its the institution that has failed to serve us by creating an unfairly competitive and utterly subjective standard.

     E.g, Live2D- its always been a wealth generation centric, selfish money growing scheme. Your work is beyond that.

     I think it's really easy to feel burnt out when you're effectively playing catch-up with a massive company having full-time paid employees working on it, so it's perfectly understandable to take a slower pace

     in fact, from my personal experience, taking long breaks from certain projects has been largely beneficial to my projects, mostly because I can churn out way better code if I actually feel motivated working on it

     @LunaFoxgirlVT if you need a break, then take however much time you need. Your health is more important.
     Live2D has so much money, devs and a monopoly on the market. It's understandable to feel helpless. But you are making something great! As you said before, they copied a feature that Inochi already had so you are absolutely having an effect on them.
     You are doing great btw! Don't get discouraged! I would choose inochi over Live2D any day.
