I added docs on running a Dropserver instance to https://dropserver.org
I think it's better than having it in the repo's Readme, which might change in anticipation of a future release, and therefore be out of sync with the latest binary from releases page.
Also the docs page is strictly focused on installation, making it more clear, and the Readme can be more focused on the code.

Oh great I seem to be getting FOUC on the dropserver site now. Probably because *something* changed in Astro. Guess where my man-months are going to go now?

OK, fixing the FOUC took 0.005 man-months. Not bad considering the kind of pickle an #SSG can lure you into.
The fix: .astro templates are plain HTML so you can't have a <style> tag sibling to <html> or <head> or <body> tag. Perfectly reasonable.
Unfortunately if you come from a #Vue SFC background you put <style> at root of your component by habit. Then Astro's html parser ejects the html/head/body tags (without any warning mind you, bc #HTML is all about failing without telling anyone).
