     I’m genuinely curious if anybody actually does blood typing over there. In the west, at least in the civilian system throughout most of the north and south of the continent, it’s seen as too risky because people don’t know, and you can scarcely trust banks to have the typing accurate either.

     The only time I hear of somebody getting their own blood type is in-patient, when they have all the time in the world to type the bag and the patient.
