   I’ve been asked whether it would be feasible to do a fundraiser for medical tourism to Thailand to get bottom surgery done.

   Answer is: not if I host the fundraiser, additionally id feel bad asking that of people.
   If a friend of mine outside of Denmark hosted it, it would be feasible. But haven’t really looked much in to that.

     To do fundraising in Denmark you need to apply and pay for permission to host such a fundraiser. The permission can be revoked by the state at any time for any reason in which case they get the money + you have to pay taxes from the money raised by the fundraiser too.

     Oh also the permission you get only lasts a year so if your fundraiser is taking time to complete, you have to keep reapplying or the "pay it all out to the state" thing counts again.

     Why can't you get bottom surgery in Denmark? Is it prohibitively expensive, or worse, illegal?
