My domain offends furries because they can't handle the fact that "one of them" isn't in the hivemind it's why when I go multi user I'm making a new domain to get round 2 of making furries cry themselves to death.
Most furries will take Tumblr tier political beliefs if they think they can get friends and more money for furry commissions (before being canceled over drawing cub or increasingly feral by some zoomer), while probably just drawing the same fetish over and over again in their gallery to the point of burnout.
On a related note most furries I know don't even touch the fedi or to them it's another Weasyl; a website where they'll use when everyone moves to a "knockoff of popular website" for a week when angry at someone else before moving back to Twitter; because the name of the game is about racking those retweets and Patreon dollars up.
I've had this on some VPS for over a year or so at this point. I've had some fun from hashtag flooding to provoking angry mastodon users in threads. I've even went onto blocklists and laughed in their face on their Github pages.
I have little tolerance for people who make the last free parts of the web shit, considering I'm here to get away from people like that.
Furries are like this too. That's not a joke. The only website that has users that isn't FurAffinity or a social media site is Inkbunny and they're like the Baraag of the furry sphere (except humans in art are banned). There's some demented shit on there, but also stuff FurAffinity bans/will janny you for like Sonic fanart as an example.
FurAffinity has gotten a lot worse at jannying stuff and furry artists won't touch Inkbunny because just like Mastodon users, the thought of sharing the same website with people they hate makes them want to kill themselves. Hiding the bad users isn't enough they have to go, and this is literally what one furry artist believes.
Recently some furry art site that tried to rip off FA while literally using XenForo as the codebase (That's not a joke, look at KF and how broken it is for why that's a shitty idea) wound up banning tons of shit to please a mob who went back to Twitter/FA.
@PhenomX6 >moving back to Twitter; because the name of the game is about racking those retweets and Patreon dollars up that's every mastodon user these people moved in mass after the elon thing but no one stayed around
so many instances that block us are just completely dead, you go there and there's barely one post per week
One more random inkbunny fact before I get back to work is FurAffinity is outdated as shit. Inkbunny has things like high res images, image galleries for comics/alt versions (see Pixiv), and whatnot. It's just Inkbunny allows cub and lots of total degenerates to post there, and because their moderation is only against humans in drawn porn (which I've heard stories about being lax on towards ecelebs as well in the past) and IRL stuff obviously (anything else is fair game), furries avoid the site like the plague. It's been worse in recent years, there used to at one time be users posting there who hated the pedoshit part (yes there are actual "MAPs"/pedos there) of the userbase and I'm sure a few silently still do.
