@VBurner @Twoinchdestroya @ChurnHinge @Zealist @JedKron1248 You have to buy your own. For the kids I just let them use spray paint, some brands and matte finishes are passable and it’s much easier than setting up the airbrush and hood for a bunch of 8-12 yos.
The end result is actually okay a good amount of the time, but it REALLY varies by make and type. If you want cost-effective and cheap, it’s hard to beat a $3 can of matte krylon. Once you get the feel for it, THEN you can drop $350 on all the finishing essentials.
I’m just not big on telling noobs to blow a ton of money on the hobby when they don’t even know if they like it or not. Start small, and buy the gear once you know what you like and want. Otherwise you just have another eyesore in the closet making you feel guilty for wasting money on something you only used once
