     @coolboymew newer theaters around me solely have reclining seats that go back pretty far, and you can lift the arm rests to turn them into something closer to the second pic. lots of people bring in blankets and pillows and stuff.

     I wish that was the case here. last time I went a decade ago you paid 8.50 bucks for a ""menu"" that includes 1 bottle drink (small) and one popcorn "medium).
