   @thor @icedquinn Chad memes are a good example of that. It was originally supposed to be that virgin was relatively normal, albeit cringey or socially awkward, or otherwise looked down upon, while chad was a ridiculous over the top parody and completely absurd. The virgin was often self deprecating humor. Then it got watered down to "virgin is everyone i don't like and sucks, chad is me and is awesome" by people who didn't understand the absurdist humor.

     @galena @icedquinn something about the original point being missed and stuff generally getting diluted over time, i guess.
