But I know many of them, and I know that many (if not most) of them would immediately defederate from anything that even remotely smells like the old Gab/8chan crap.
Most of the ones I know (including some of the largest instances) have strict rules about racism, homophobia, white supremacy and praise of fascism. So they would either end up banning most of the users on those instances, or just banning the whole instances.
