mcc@mntmn So this would be the nichest of niche things, but you know what would be really exciting for me is a touch device which is connected to, or can be modified to connect to, one or more DC-coupled ADC/DACs/5V GPIOs (say, on 1/8 inch jacks). That would basically be eurorack superpowers (especially if the plug count exceeds 2in/2out— most hobby microcontrollers maxes out there).
(The TV/monitor sounds like something the world really needs but the chances of me buying it myself are near zero.)
