   I tuned in to the Tennessee legislature session on April 6, 2023, and became so engrossed I watched it in its entirety. After sleeping on it, here’s what stood out to me:

   The Tennessee House GOP made a grave miscalculation in moving to expel representatives Justin Jones, Gloria Johnson, and Justin Pearson.

   Before yesterday, most of us had never heard of them.

   Today, they have taken the spotlight as leading voices for the gun control movement in the US.

   Today, they have emerged as rising stars of a new generation of political leadership.

   Today, the US is better for having heard them speak truth to power and use their adversity to advance the ideals of democracy.

   I am ashamed of the overall political direction of my country, but the Tennessee Three give me reason for hope. Giant oopsie for the TN GOP.

     Let me guess: you think the people who protested at the US Capitol on January 6th are insurrectionists and deserve indefinite detention or death?
     
     Don't worry, I get it. Itcs basic friend/enemy distinction.
     
     The TN protestors are friends and the J6 protestors are enemies, so despite the actual crimes involves being virtually identical, the first should be protected and the second destroyed.
     
     I also get that you likely consider me to be an enemy to be destroyed, so don't expect me to help you in your efforts to destroy me.
