Why is it so hard for web developers to not screw up DNS entries without permission? 9 out of 10 mail delivery tickets are thanks to these motherfuckers changing the NS without warning anyone and without noting down the old entries to migrate to the new one.

@vhns that's when you change the passwords to the domain or remove their server access so they have to ask IT for any changes

@coolboymew I'm currently working for a hosting company, so people open tickets with us such as "OMFG! EMAIL NO WORKY!" (sometimes it's the webdev themselves). It's very different from an environment where I have full control over everything (in which case, I'd definitely do what you said).
