     @teknomunk The most obvious example is the fact that the sex offender registry exists. If some jurisdiction just said, "Yeah we're not going to uphold the law regarding sex offenders" then that would immediately turn into a kill list for vigilantes. The justice system exists to preserve criminals for use by elites as a weapon against proles.

     Because they rightly fear being fired, arrested and thrown in prison for the rest of their life (death by prison gang) and having people like this woman chear it on. Everything they see in society tells them this will be their fate.

     America was founded on vigilantism, the blood memory of "just shoot the motherfucker" is deep. Once the veneer of industrial society is scratched, lynching returns.
