My only problem with driving old cars is the safety level, the brakes and crush zones are just not okay by todays standards, everything else is OK -

@gorplop
a few weeks ago I saw a Honda Civic.. 5th or 6th gen at a parking lot, next to more modern cars.It looked beautiful.
But its hood was like 50% lower than that of other cars.
It was also slimmer width-wise.Do you think it's possible to fit all the crumple zones in such a small space?

@gorplop
Sadly hard to fit the airbags into the a-pilars and all that crap.
But yeah, many of the current day cars are boring and huge.polprog68k likes this.
