In my experience, people that talk about fashion are less dismissive of people that talk about computers, than people that talk about computers are of people that talk about fashion. 🙂🙃
Fashion folks are more like "I'm not into computers, but it's cool! You do you!"
Computer folk are more like, "Fashion is a frivolous past time, and I think that you are an unserious person for caring about it. I question your values."
This is painful for the people who care about fashion and computers.
