     I'm on high alert whenever I'm outside of the house, head on swivel, ears perked up, eyes open and scanning. I'm in London and I wouldn't trust any of the shit skins (and there are no shortage of them) to do anything other than attack or rob and rape so I don't drop my guard for a moment let alone limit my senses.

     I haven't been camping with my mates for a few years it's been pretty shit weather for it but I really do need to spend some quality time outside. I'll see how the spring looks and dust of my gear and get out for a long weekend or something.

     @Grumblesock Yeah that's how I like to do it. I have a pretty cool backpack tent so you can get a permit and hike out to certain areas and set up. I usually stay through the weekend and such. If you can find 2-3 people to go it;s a little party.

     I'm like that with beaches, best had all to oneself or at least 500 metres between me and the next human. There's one not too far away about 1 1/2 hours where a good friend lives. It's a rocky beach rather than sandy but usually quiet and good for finding cool rocks, shells and sea glass.

     Stick me in the middle of a forest or farmland miles away from any other people and I'm fine. I can live quite well without a mobile phone signal and 24 hr goyslop delivery.

     I'll admit I love snow but even that really has a limit after a while. The last 2 days here have been clear and sunny, still cold, but it makes such a difference to my energy levels and mood.
