if youre looking for web backend stuff go is a wonderful option
but yeah elixir is p good too I just dont have first-hand experience -

I looked at go but there's a lot of jank that reminds me of the jank that causes 90% of my problems in python, and it lacks sane implementations of convenience features that I'm spoiled with, such as iterators/generators, oh, and endless "if res == nill ... yadda" repetition that, like... WHY
For Elixir, me neither but because it's built ground up for concurrency, I want to believe that it would eliminate a lot of my issues, but the real problem is likely between the keyboard and the chair. -
