   I do think the most popular meme about Talmud quotes was deliberately invented by Jews to confuse the goyim, because it has a lot of blatantly fake quotations, and others can be described as "deboonked" by Jews who can abuse the goyim's lack of contextual knowledge.
   One example is a real quote from Sanhedrin 59a, which states that a gentile who studies the Talmud deserves death. The deboonker can then cite the passage after, which says that a gentile who studies the Talmud is like a high priest. But if you actually read the whole passage in context, the conclusion states that the latter verse applies specifically to the seven Noachide laws for goyim, not the whole thing. They ominously don't elaborate afterward on the implications for unapproved goy study of the other parts of the Talmud. So the actual context leads to the conclusion that the bad part is largely in context, while the nice-sounding part is mostly not. It's important to be wary of easy traps and pitfalls in this field.

     I just like the extent to which they spell it out in their millennia-old oral tradition. The vast majority of negative stereotypes about Jews come up or are made evident by looking at it. Like there's actually historical records of them slandering Jesus and Mary since well before Christians were ever in a position of power to persecute them, so their claims that negativity towards Jesus were only due to Christian persecution are verifiably BS.

     Note that in the Acts of the Apostles, there is a story in which Rabbi Gamaliel spares early Christians by saying that their movement would fizzle out like many other messianic movements were it not from God, and they should spare them lest they risk going against God. I have never seen any similar unambiguously positive portrayal of either Jesus or any Christian in the Talmud. The vaguely positive comments about gentiles have massive loopholes baked in, with exploiting similar loopholes being a recurring theme throughout the texts. And of course there are considerably more derogatory statements about gentiles, Jesus, and Christians, and these are way, way worse than any New Testament criticism of the Pharisees. And the Talmud bragging about killing Jesus is more damning than anything recorded in the Gospels.
     
     Just going off their respective foundational texts, all the evidence supports repeated Jewish inciting of anti-Christian and anti-gentile hatred throughout their communities, and Christian responses, though larger and more devastating due to Christians greatly outnumbering Jews, largely being a response to that. Given the role Jews played as the first persecutors of Christianity, their treatment in scripture is actually quite merciful and charitable.

     Belief in a just God and eternal punishment should have you more concerned about them than angry, as the consequences of such behavior are far worse than any evil they might inflict against us. Better to focus on your own salvation than worry about their punishment, which will come as surely as the sun rises.

     @ArdainianRight Normally, this would be the kind of logic and even-handedness I approve of, but it's difficult for me to be "trapped" when my response to Jews is just "I'm not listening to you, keep digging the hole".
