   The fact that the boomers I deal with are barely functional when it comes to any sort of tech, like pdfs, word docs, or simple email makes me so upset.
   
   To think this is what our government is makes me so, very, sad.

     Once you learn it it's literally easier and looks nicer. Also try using a fountain pen, It's harder with a Biro.

     @Tony @NotoriousDOG @skylar cursive classes are good tho, at least for schools where you still will have writing exams done by pen.
     outside of school yeah not so much, the only time I use a pen is for maths or diagramming, never to write an essay.

     lol burning a what? They probably don't even know what a cd is or what mail is.
     
     I was talking to my boom boom aunt last week, and she and her other boomer friends are starting a committee (and literally talked to the governor of their city) about implementing cursive classes in school again.
     
     They literally have no concept of what the world is like anymore. It's time for them to all go to their respective old people homes honestly.

     But for general day to day stuff, a file system isn't really something you need to know about unless you're in IT...
     
     I'm talking about barely functional boomers who can't even handle cash registers or email...
     
     I've read some places that millenials and gen x to some degree are the only ones who will ever really be computer literate. Because we grew up with every stage.
     
     zoom zooms grew up in the world of apps, so idk how many of them can even type on a real keyboard anymore.

     @yomiel @Tony @NotoriousDOG @skylar I like my Japanese erasable ink cartridge pens, I think those would have more advantages than a fountain pen since the only non-math writing I've done in the last year has been Latin/Russian noun conjugation tables
