   The thing about the Talmud is that it's supposedly a "holy book," but it's full of the most gross and cursed shit. When the Bible has to touch on risque subjects, it uses euphemisms like "had relations," but the Talmud very frequently goes into absurd detail on even the most disgusting stuff.

     Reading a "sacred text" should never feel like reading a cursed Kiwifarms thread. There are parts of the Talmud that feel like that.

     It was written down to record the culture and traditions of the people who put Jesus to death. So unholy sounds about right.
