     @sim @gabek @fediversereport That one doesn't really bother me because the answer to "who are these people anyway" is "not w3c". :^)
     Anyone has the power to make an AP server and then break compatibility with other AP servers. A conference of major nodes isn't really going to increase the likelihood of that.

     @Zergling_man @fediversereport @gabek Another problem, who are these people anyway? Do we really need to centralise fedi development? It doesn't seem to work out well for other projects because some voices are raised above everyone else if the decisions don't go in the direction those voices want. It causes burnout for the voices that don't get heard, even if they have some good ideas.
