     @LovecraftEnthusiast the superficial read on this image is kind of off, because none of them are willing to admit the truth of what happened in 2020. i read his expression more as "this is what you forced me to resort to, hope you're all fucking enjoying it."
     
     the entire system maligned and humiliated him, the bureaucracy betrayed him in his first term, and the entire edifice refused to let him take power in an election that he fairly won.
     
     so he turned to the richest man alive and to the most powerful man in us politics, and offered to give them everything they wanted if they would help him get even and burn the system down to the ground.
     
     it's almost mythic.
